CNFC Guangzhou Harbour Engineering Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Guangzhou Harbour Engineering), a subsidiary established in 1958 and wholly owned by China Agriculture Development Group Corporation affiliated to the State Council National Capital Committee, is a large-size state-owned construction enterprise integrating business of exploration, design and construction. Over 50 years, Guangzhou Harbour Engineering has undertaken nearly 700 projects: exploration, design and construction of a variety of projects along seashore, on mainland, and in the regions of Hong Kong and Macao, including port and waterway construction such as Guangdong Huilai Jinghai Power Station Class-150,000-tons Coal Wharf Project, Guangxi Qinzhou Class-50,000-tons Oil and Gas Wharf Project, Guangdong Yangjiang Baofeng Class-50,000-tons Grain Wharf Project, Guangdong Huizhou Port Class-40,000-tons Container Wharf Project, and Guangdong Huizhou Port Class-35,000-tons Oil and Gas Wharf Project; municipal public facility construction such as Donghaoyong Drainage Pump Station and Pump House Project of Guangzhou Liede Sewage Treatment Plant, Aokou and Simayong Project Section II, and Guangzhou No.2 Ring-Way Freeway Projects; water conservancy and hydropower construction such as Guangzhou Ershadao Embankment Project, Xijiang Regulation Project, and Liuxihe Regulation Project; and a vast number of other ground and foundation construction projects. Guangzhou Harbour Engineering owns special government-subsidized experts, first-class registered architects, first-class registered structure engineers, first-class constructors, high-class engineers and a variety of technicians and business management staffs totaling over 300 people. Furthermore, Guangzhou Harbour Engineering holds the nationwide and industry-wide advanced equipments in technology and power, including large-size construction ships such as pile driving ships, crane ships, dredgers, fill ships, semi-submersible barges; and large-size construction machines such as automatic concrete mixers, delivery pumps, prestressed concrete construction lines for girders, formworks and piles, massive cranes, and gantry cranes totaling more than 200 sets.
